People
Students like you; Your peers who came to us from various parts in Poland, as well as from abroad. Thanks to them, your creativity will get wings in good company.
Working in student organizations or seventy scientific clubs, you will learn to implement large projects and manage your future. Together we will organize the annual University of Economics and
Business Ball and the cult Adapciak project - Adaptation Days for newly admitted students, we will run together in the May Marathon - Wroclaw Academic Run.
Our academic staff is young at heart, committed, professional and friendly towards students.
Place
Wrocław - a city that never sleeps.
Market Square - the heart of the city, 20 minutes walk from the University.
University campus - climate, immersed in greenery. Anything can happen on it: you'll keep your ear to the ground, you'll bump into a conqueror of five eight-thousanders (it is possible that you
will have logistics classes with him), a falcon guarding campus security will fly over your head, you'll face the professor sunk in the analysis of definite integral or constructing a new
econometric model.
In the Business Process Simulation Center you will see how the world market works on a daily basis, in the Academic Incubator you will start the adventure with your own company, in the library you
will work with a book and a computer.
Events
The effect of people and place interaction are events, the academic community, the city and even all of Poland live on them.
From here, every long May weekend starts the AutoStop Race, the world's largest hitchhiking race, organized by our students (and invented by today’s graduates). The Green Team members implement
activities under the Climat Reality Project regarding the use of green energy and ecological lifestyle.
It is with us - during Ekonomalia - that all young Wrocław plays. Our scientists and students win numerous prestigious awards and distinctions, and their fields of study receive international
quality certificates. The University regularly invites popular and respected representatives of science, business and politics.
In 2020, our academic community celebrates the 100th anniversary of the birth of our nestor prof. Stanisława Bartosiewicz, admitted to study in 1947 - the first year of our University's activity.
